The Dartmouth Aires - Marvin Gaye Medley

The Dartmouth Aires is an Ivy League a cappella group from Dartmouth College in HanoverNew Hampshire. The group rose to fame in the third season of the NBC musical competition The Sing-Off, placing runner-up behind international a cappella sensation Pentatonix.

Dartmouth College's oldest a cappella singing group, the Aires were originally formed as the Injunaires in 1946 as an offshoot of the college Glee Club. After changing the group name in 1972, the Aires became independent of the Glee Club in the late 1970s.

Although the Aires usually have around eighteen members, group numbers vary on a term-to-term basis. Auditions are held at the beginning of every fall term. Upon joining, each member receives a nickname consisting of two syllables and ending in "o." Members of the Aires pick songs to arrange based on the group's tastes, singing a variety of styles as a result. According to their website, the group's repertoire features "a wide mix of contemporary favorites, traditional Ivy League tunes, sketch comedy, and the occasional piece of opera."

Most of the group's arrangements consist of a soloist, background singers, and a vocal percussionist. The Aires perform at numerous events each term at Dartmouth and locally in the Upper Valley. They frequently take weekend road-trips, singing and reveling at other colleges, performing for schools and private events, and entertaining at Dartmouth alumni clubs. Every winter break, the Aires tour the Eastern Seaboard, while traveling further afield every spring. Recent spring tours have taken them to ArubaCosta RicaParisItalyColorado, a few of the Hawaiian IslandsFloridaCalifornia, and Hong Kong.

Recent Aires accolades include winning the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award (CARA) for Best All-Male Collegiate Album for both their 2003 ("Black Tie Affaire") and 2005 ("Impaired") album releases, as well as selection for Varsity Vocals' Best Of Collegiate A Cappella compilation albums in 2003, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2015, and 2021 and selection for the Voices Only compilation CD in 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2011. Their most recent album, On Aire, was released in December 2017.

In 2011, they competed in season 3 of The Sing Off, a national reality show. The group performing on the show included 16 Aires from the classes of 2010 through 2014. Out of 16 original contestants, they finished as first runner-up behind Pentatonix, whose rise to stardom was catalyzed by the show.

Mariah Carey - Out Here on My Own

Susanne Vargas - With or Without You

Susanne Vargas …is a musician for almost 35 years now. She startet in a school-band singing coversongs and hit the studio first in 1984. There she got intrigued with the smell of creativity and decided to become a music producer. Which she did. Since then she produced many unknown but promising artists with somewhat local success.

In the last couple of years she noticed a growing urge to not only be working in the background but stepping out in the spotlight again. After some excursions into different genres, like gothic, french chanson and even country music, she remembered her roots in the 80s and startet the current project “tributes”. Having a thing for electronic music, she wanted to bring a fresh flavour to the iconic music of the neon-times and chose her favorite songs for the album.

Small Brown Bike & Casket Lottery - Under Pressure

Small Brown Bike is a band from Marshall, Michigan, United States that started in 1996. The trademark of Small Brown Bike is their "double vocals" backed by melodies.Their sound is often identified as being similar to other post-hardcore bands, such as Avail, Hot Water Music and Dillinger Four. Throughout their existence, Small Brown Bike have toured three times with Dead Season between 1999 and 2000 and once with Thoughts of Ionesco in 1999.[2] Their last show was in 2004 at The Fireside Bowl in Chicago, after already agreeing to split up. Former members Mike Reed and Dan Jaquint later created the band LaSalle, with Reed's wife playing bass guitar. Ben Reed also started the Great Sea Serpents based out of Chicago, IL. Mike and Ben have also formed the band Able Baker Fox with former drummer Jeff Gensterblum and Nathan Ellis from the Casket Lottery. Their first album "Voices" was released in January 2008.

The Casket Lottery is an American indie rock band from Kansas City, Missouri signed to Second Nature Recordings and Big Scary MonstersThe band started in 1997 after Nathan Ellis spent time on the road with Coalesce. He and Stacy Hilt struck up an instant friendship and love for music beyond the hardcore and metal roots of Coalesce. After leaving Coalesce in the fall of 1997, Ellis assumed bass duties, filling the hole left by Stacy's departure. A chance meeting at a local benefit show reunited Nathan and Stacy once again, at which time he presented Stacy with the basement tracks that would end up on the Diver cassette and Dot, Dot. They found a perfect complement to their musical background in a then 15-year-old drumming phenom Nathan (Jr.) Richardson. The band has toured across the United States numerous times (with Reflector, Small Brown BikeRocky Votolato, Proudentall, and Limbeck among others), and has released a healthy number of records.

In mid-2006, the band went on hiatus. Singer Nathan Ellis works on a record and plays shows with his new bands Jackie Carol and Able Baker Fox, and drummer Nathan "Junior" Richardson joined Appleseed Cast, completing several tours as well as recording on their album "Peregrine." He has subsequently quit The Appleseed Cast. Both Nathans are members of the reformed Coalesce.

In 2010 the band re-united as special guest at Coalesce show in their hometown. They also reformed in early 2011 to play shows with recently re-united friends in Small Brown Bike. In late August 2011 they announced via their Facebook page that they were to enter the studio with Ed Rose to record a new album.

On August 30, 2011, The Casket Lottery announced that they were recording new material with Ed Rose at Black Lodge, which was followed by an announcement on January 9, 2012, that the new material will be released via No Sleep Records in the Spring and Summer of 2012.

In 2017 Run for Cover Records approached the band about re-releasing their first three LP's on vinyl. Nathan Ellis and Stacy Hilt were instantly interested, but Nathan Richardson was busy pursuing a career in the medical field. Ellis and Hilt with Richardson's blessing approached longtime friend Jason Trabue (Hopesfall) to fill the seat left by Richardson's departure. The band practiced throughout 2017 to prepare for their first US tours since 2004.

In January 2020 the band started recording their 5th full length album at B-24 Studios in Kansas City, MO with Producer Ed Rose and Engineer Josh Barber. The album is scheduled to be released in late summer / early fall of 2020.

Macy Gray - Walk This Way

El sencillo de presentación fue Beauty In The World.

Outer Park - Sunshine of Your Love

Outer Park is back with its 3rd album, "Blood from an Orange," another mashed-up, mixed-up and modernized journey through the diverse styles & sounds that distinguished the dawn of underground radio. Vocalist Chelsea Austin brings a contemporary perspective to the collaboration that guitarist Patrick S. Noonan, bassist James Singleton, and keyboardist Charles Tobermann began over 50 years ago.

In 2013 the founding trio played a gig together, their first meeting in 40 years. The seeds of Outer Park were sown as they considered the question: "What would the music of our shared past sound like now, through the lens of the decades of music we have each played since, and the decades of life we have experienced?" The year 2018 marked the 50th anniversary of their first public gig together as pre-teens. The stars - and schedules - lined up, and after recruiting vocalist Chelsea Austin, "Outer Park" was born. From a recording studio in New Orleans came the 2019 release "1968 (slight return)." In 2021, they released a new 10 song set, "Whole Lotta Orange," again embracing the wild and fresh juxtaposition of folk, rock, jazz, blues, Americana, psychedelic and other styles that were the hallmark of early FM radio (with drummers Jason Marsalis & Justin Peake, and other special guests). The 3rd set arrives Sept. 30 on all the usual digital streaming and download platforms! "Blood from an Orange" spans original and reinterpreted covers, with special guests old and new.
