Jordis Unga - The Man Who Sold the World

 Jordis Losana Sikahema Unga (born August 6, 1982) is an American rock singer from Forest Lake, Minnesota. After years of building a cult following in Minneapolis, as a vocalist for The Fighting Tongs and Liars Club, Unga reached international fame for her performances on the first season of the CBS television reality show Rock Star: INXS where 15 contestants competed to become the lead vocalist for the Australian rock band INXS. She finished fifth overall. Unga was also a contestant on the second season of NBC's The Voice as a part of "Team Blake". She was eliminated on April 16, 2012, finishing in the Top 16 of the competition. In 2014, Unga released her debut album, A Letter from Home.

Unga comes from a musical family. Her father, originally from Tonga, moved the family around a lot when she was young. Eventually the family settled down in St. Paul, Minnesota when she was about 10 years old. Through her aunt, she is related to Sione Vailahi, a professional wrestler.^[4]

Unga attended Forest Lake Area High School, and, in 2000, the Perpich Center for Arts Education for her senior year of high school where she studied music.

Early 2002, Unga was the front singer for The Fighting Tongs. The band adopted the name from the movie Big Trouble in Little China. The band supported Twisted Sister, Anthrax, Sevendust and Damageplan. It was dissolved after recording a self-financed EP, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades. Ex-members including Unga, drummer Corey Frazee, guitarist "Moose" Hitchcock and bassist Josh Hoglund formed "Liars Club".

Unga first appeared on television as a contestant on Star Search (2004) but was knocked out of the competition in the first round. She appeared on the first season of the CBS television reality show Rock Star: INXS where 15 contestants competed to become the lead vocalist for the Australian rock band INXS. Contestants were housed in the Paramour Mansion, and squared off in a singing contest featuring well-known rock songs. Each week, viewers voted for their favorite contestant. The three contestants with the fewest votes performed an INXS song the following night. Except for the second week, each week one finalist was asked to perform an encore performance of the song they performed the night before, noted as an "Encore Performance".

As the youngest contestant at age 22, Unga received international notoriety for her rendition of The Who's 'Baba O'Riley'. Dave Navarro, one of the judges, declared, "Let's close the competition now!" Unga scored high marks in the second round of the competition with Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box". Halfway through the competition, Unga was invited by Navarro to perform The Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go" with his band Camp Freddy at the West Hollywood House of Blues. Camp Freddy featured former The Cult bassist Billy Morrison on guitar and ex-Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins.

During the show, Unga achieved the feat of simultaneously having the top four most downloaded songs on MSN Music, reaching the No. 1 position on the MSN charts being an unprecedented feat for an unsigned artist.

Brian Justin Crum ( BJC ) - You Oughta Know

 Brian Justin Crum (born May 28, 1988) is an American singer and actor from San Diego, California. In 2016, he came to national attention competing on the eleventh season of the NBC TV competition America's Got Talent, taking fourth place.

Brian Justin Crum was born in San Diego, California, United States, and attended the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. Crum always had a love for music, and decided to take it to the stage.

At the age of seventeen, Crum left San Diego to become a part of the popular broadway musical Wicked. He later moved to New York City, New York and joined the cast of the musical comedy Altar Boyz and Grease. Crum also dreamed of becoming a part of the Next to Normal musical; that came true when he became a standby for Gabe and Henry, characters of the play. Crum has starred in several regional productions such as Tarzan, Jesus Christ Superstar and Snapshots. He soon met his mentor Stephen Schwartz, and the two performed alongside each other throughout the country. Brian played the character of "Daniel" in the episode "Possessed" in Season 12 of Law & Order: SVU.

Crum toured with The Addams Family, portraying Lucas Beineke and most frequently as Galileo Figaro in Queen's rock theatrical We Will Rock You. He sang with Brian May and Roger Taylor, original members of the band. He won a few Best Actor in Musical Awards for his performance and garnered reviews that considered him as "a Triumph." But besides his acting career, Crum is now pursuing a new career in Pop music, currently in Los Angeles, California.

For the June 28, 2016, final broadcast during the eleventh season of NBC's America's Got Talent. Crum continued into the cuts and performed Radiohead's "Creep". Crum received enough votes from the public and automatically advanced into the quarterfinals. Going into the quarterfinals, Crum performed Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight. Crum received enough votes from the public once again and advanced to the semifinals, along with fellow act Grace VanderWaal. In the semifinals, Crum performed Tears For Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World". Mandel, Klum, Mel and Cowell gave Crum a standing ovation and he received enough votes to be sent into the finals.

For his final performance, Crum sang Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror". At the end of the broadcast, Crum placed fourth in the competition overall, with VanderWaal declared as the winner.

Following his time on America's Got Talent, Crum and Mary Lambert performed as guest vocalists on Superfruit's cover of Katy Perry's "Rise".

He released a cover of Robyn's "Show Me Love" on December 10, 2016 through Prop D Recordings.  The song reached the top ten on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart, and peaked at #33 on the magazine's Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

He also made an appearance on America's Got Talent's Christmas special alongside previous Got Talent acts, singing "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town". He has continued to perform live, travelling across the United States to perform at various events.

In 2019, he was a competitor on America's Got Talent: The Champions. On the January 28, 2019 episode, he performed a cover of Elton John's "Your Song" and advanced to the finals. He did not finish in the top five.

The day after the America's Got Talent: The Champions finale, Crum released his new single "Circles".

He sang the National Anthem at the San Diego Padres opening day game, March 28, 2019.

He released a new music video "I & U" on June 20, 2019.

In 2021, he is set to appear in a Chicago production of Children of Eden at the Arcada Theatre.

Neal Morse, Mike Portnoy and Randy George - Baker Street

 Neal Morse (nacido el 2 de agosto de 1960 en Van Nuys, California) es un músico multi-instrumentista y compositor de rock progresivo con sede en Nashville, Tennessee, reconocido por su gran versatilidad musical.

Morse creció en Valle de San Fernando de Los Ángeles siendo uno de cuatro hermanos. Su hermana es maestra en el distrito escolar de Walnut Creek. Su padre era director de coro. Morse comenzó a tomar lecciones de piano a la edad de 5 años, poco después aprendió guitarra. Cuando tenía veinte años escribió dos comedias musicales (Hit Man y Homeland). Hizo algunas sesiones como cantautor en Los Ángeles y grabó algunas demos de country y western con su hermano Richard.

Después de unos 10 años, cansado de la escena musical en Los Ángeles viajó por Europa durante varios años tocando en pequeños clubes e inclusive en la calle. A su regreso a Estados Unidos formó la banda Spock's Beard con su hermano Alan. Su primer álbum, The Light, fue un éxito moderado. Spock's Beard pronto se convirtió en una de las bandas más exitosas de rock progresivo de los años noventa (junto a Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree y The Flower Kings).

Si bien Morse se mantuvo con Spock's Beard, también desarrolló algunos proyectos como solista. Neal Morse se convirtió al cristianismo en 2002, dejó Spock's Beard y Transatlantic poco después de que saliera el álbum de Snow con Spock's Beard. El 18 de mayo de 2003, Morse tomó parte en el proyecto Yellow Matter Custard, miembros de este proyecto fueron: Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Paul Gilbert (Racer X, Mr. Big), y el Bajista Matt Bissonnette, una banda que ejecutó covers de los Beatles y, con quienes grabó un disco doble y un DVD. [Más adelante en el caso de Mike Portnoy junto a Paul Gilbert, Gary Cherone (Extreme) en la voz y Billy Sheehan (DLR Band, Mr. Big) en el Bajo eléctrico; grabarían un proyecto similar llamado "Bootleg" en donde rinden tributo a una de las bandas de Rock que más han influenciado, The Who].

En 2004, Morse escribió y grabó un nuevo álbum conceptual con Mike Portnoy y Randy George en el bajo. El virtuoso guitarrista Phil Keaggy hizo aparición como invitado en guitarra y voz. El álbum, titulado One, es sobre la relación del hombre con Dios desde su perspectiva cristiana y fue lanzado el 2 de noviembre de 2004.

En 2005, Morse publicó dos álbumes cristianos no-progresivos. En enero, Morse grabó Lead Me Lord con un coro góspel cristiano de su congregación, sus hijos y sus amigos. Este fue lanzado en febrero. En julio, Morse lanzó God Won't Give Up, que fue escrito en torno al lanzamiento de Snow. Este es un álbum pop similar a It's Not Too Late, pero con letras cristianas.

En el verano de 2005, un miembro de su iglesia se acercó a Morse para decirle que debería hacer un álbum sobre el Tabernáculo y que debería guardar en secreto. Morse mencionó que ya estaba trabajando en un proyecto secreto. Éste le escribió una nota y estaba convencido de que él (Neal), debe de hacer el proyecto. Neal menciona que durante una entrevista de radio creó un rumor de que iba a hacer el álbum. Hubo un concurso publicado en su tablero de mensajes y en su página para adivinar por parte de los participantes, el tema y el significado del álbum, basados en una serie de pistas. El proyecto secreto fue finalmente revelado como: ? (También conocido como The Question Mark) y que hace referencia al tabernáculo (bíblico) hebreo en el desierto, (es decir, -el recinto sagrado de Dios- diseñado y construido en tiempos de Moisés), comparándolo con el -tabernáculo (recinto sagrado de Dios) en el corazón del hombre. La banda estaba conformada por Neal, Mike Portnoy, y Randy George y como invitados Mark Leniger, Alan Morse, Roine Stolt, Steve Hackett y Jordan Rudess.

En el año de 2006 edita el álbum Cover to Cover, que es una colección de temas de otras bandas de rock de diversas épocas y que fueron grabadas durante las sesiones de ?, One y Testimony; y que fueron ejecutadas por Neal, Mike y Randy proveyendo de esta forma un nuevo enfoque a su carrera solista, de que no era tan adverso a tocar canciones estrictamente no-religiosas. Ha salido también una segunda versión (Cover to Cover 2) de este mismo concepto y que se encuentra a la venta actualmente.

A principios de 2007 Morse lanzó su más reciente álbum de rock progresivo titulado: "Sola Scriptura", que es un álbum conceptual que detalla la vida y luchas del teólogo y reformador alemán Martín Lutero, en pro del regreso de la Iglesia católica a la esencia del cristianismo original, a la lectura de la Biblia, y sobre todo que ésta estuviera disponible y al alcance para su lectura, para todas las personas en todo el mundo en el siglo xvi, pues durante muchos siglos la Iglesia católica propagó un periodo de oscurantismo severo. Neal Morse en esta ocasión invita a Mike Portnoy y a Randy George, una vez más se asociaron con Morse para la grabación de este álbum. También se sumó como músico invitado Paul Gilbert (de Racer X y Mr. Big ) (con quien había trabajado también en el proyecto de Yellow Matter Custard) y que ejecutó la guitarra en algunas de las canciones de este álbum.

Inmediatamente después de la liberación de "Sola Scriptura", Morse publicó un álbum acústico titulado "Songs From The Highway".

En el año 2008 lanzó el disco "Secret Place" (de la serie de discos "Worship Session"), además del disco progresivo "Lifeline" (primer disco no-conceptual progresivo de su etapa como solista, también pública un DVD doble llamado "Sola Scriptura and Beyond", el cual fue grabado en Holanda el 26 de mayo de 2007, durante el festival Io-Pages, en este DVD muestra a la nueva banda que lo acompañara en sus giras, ellos son Paul Bielatowicz (guitarra), Collin Leijenaar (batería) Jessica Koomen (voz, teclado) Henk Doest (teclado) Wilco van Esschoten (bajo).

El penúltimo disco doble de estudio: "Testimony 2", el cual fue lanzado el 23 de mayo de 2011.

Lo nuevo de este gran maestro del Rock Progresivo con músicos: Neal Morse - vocales, guitarra, teclados; Randy George - bajo; Mike Portnoy - batería; Adson Sodre - guitarra; Paul Gilbert - guitarra; sumamente genial como todo lo que hace este maestro es el CD "Momentum" (2012), trabajo de alto impacto, y no sin dejar de lado la versión en vivo grabada el 11 de octubre de 2012 en Nueva York y lanzada en 2013.

Michael Stephen "Mike" Portnoy (n. 20 de abril de 1967) es un baterista y compositor musical estadounidense. Creció en Long Island, Nassau, Nueva York, donde su interés por la música comenzó a temprana edad. Es principalmente conocido por su trabajo en la banda de metal progresivo Dream Theater la cual co-fundó trabajando como compositor, baterista y director de los DVD de Dream Theater. Famoso por su talento en la batería, Portnoy ha ganado 23 premios de la revista Modern Drummer. Produjo junto a John Petrucci seis álbumes de Dream Theater, comenzando por Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory y finalizando con Black Clouds & Silver Linings. No está de más destacar que ha desarrollado una gran habilidad para cantar, lo cual lo demuestra en los discos de Dream Theater donde hace coros, segunda voz, y hasta ha sido la voz principal en la primera estrofa del tema Take the Time en el DVD Chaos in Motion, y el final de la canción A Nightmare to Remember.

En septiembre de 2010 anunció que dejaba Dream Theater. Actualmente aprovecha su tiempo dictando cursos de batería para sus fanes mientras trabaja en cinco proyectos con distintas personalidades de amplia trayectoria musical. Randy George  es un bajista estadounidense más conocido como miembro de la Neal Morse Band. Randy George aprendió piano de niño y el teclado siguió siendo su segundo instrumento más adelante en su carrera. No descubrió el bajo hasta el principio de su adolescencia y John Lodge, de los Moody Blues, fue su primer modelo a seguir.En 1994 fundó en Seattle el grupo de prog rock Ajalon junto con Dan Lile y Wil Henderson. Al cabo de dos años, Rick Wakeman les fichó para el sello Hope Records y publicaron su primer álbum juntos en 1997

Jason Manns feat. Rob Benedict - Long Train Running

 Jason Manns  is a folk/rock musician, who released his debut album in 2006. Jensen has sung backing vocals for Jason on several occassions. Jason also sung background vocals on Steve Carlson's CD "Rollin' On" (together with Jensen) on the tracks "Hummingbird Billy", "Rocking Chair" and "Wasted Jamie".

He has also worked as an actor appearing in The Plight of Clownana, which was co-produced by Jensen Ackles. Jason also appears as the best man Bret in the film Cake: A Wedding Story

Jason has done a number of UK tours with gigs in Portsmouth, London, Cambridge, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester and Brighton. Jason's UK tours are booked through Slique Events

Jason has previously had a regular Sunday night gig at LScorpion! 6679 Hollywood Blvd, LA.

Robert «Rob» Patrick Benedict (Columbia, Estados Unidos; 21 de septiembre de 1970) es un actor, actor de voz y cantante estadounidense. Es mayormente reconocido por su trabajo en distintas series y filmes de comedia como Felicity, Head Case y Not Another Teen Movie (2001), además de sus constantes apariciones en Supernatural.​ Asimismo, Benedict es el vocalista y guitarrista principal de la banda de indie rock, Louden Swain, la cual fundó en 1995 en Chicago y con la que ha publicado seis álbumes de estudio, un extended play y un sencillo.

Nick Waterhouse - Smooth Operator

 Nick Waterhouse (born February 8, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter and record producer from Los Angeles. He is a guitarist and singer known for a sound rooted in rhythm & blues, jazz, and soul. Waterhouse was born in Santa Ana, California. He was raised in Huntington Beach, California, the son of a fireman and a saleswoman. He took up guitar at age 12. As a young teen he found himself more interested in increasingly obscure and eclectic Americana outside of the pop and contemporary rock of his peers. He has cited Bert Berns, Mose Allison, John Lee Hooker, Van Morrison, and a reading of Peter Guralnick's portrait of Dan Penn as early influences in his musical development.

Waterhouse started his career as guitarist and singer-songwriter with Intelligista (2002–2003), a combo compared to the Animals and High Numbers-era Who. This band performed in the Orange County underground music scene that yielded artists such as Ty Segall, Mikal Cronin, The Growlers, Cold War Kids. In 2002, the band entered the Distillery in Costa Mesa to record a radio broadcast and a 7-inch single, beginning a friendship between Waterhouse and owner-engineer Mike McHugh. At the end of high school, the band split, finding Waterhouse attending San Francisco State University in San Francisco.

In San Francisco, Waterhouse continued pursuing playing music with little luck, concurrently becoming more involved with the burgeoning DJ community. During this time, he became a fixture at the all-vinyl Rooky Ricardo's Records in the Lower Haight District, eventually taking a job. He has repeatedly cited apprenticeship to owner Richard Vivian and the shop's connections to local soul club scene as a great influence. During this time he also struck up a friendship with MWaterhouse recorded his debut single in late 2010 at the Distillery Studio in Southern California. "Some Place", backed with "That Place" was recorded with a pickup group billed as the Turn-Keys, featuring Ira Raibon of the Fabulous Souls playing saxophone. The initial release of "Some Place" in November 2010 was on Waterhouse's own PRES imprint. The single was recorded, mixed, and mastered completely analog to lacquer, plated and hand-pressed. The labels were handset letterpress printed. Copies of "Some Place" sell for as much as $300.

On the strength of the self-distributed single, Waterhouse assembled a backing group, The Tarots, as well as taking on a trio of female vocalists, The Naturelles. This line up coalesced in time for a debut performance in the last week of December 2010. His earliest performances were with artists such as Ty Segall, The Strange Boys, White Fence, and most frequently, The Allah-Las. He signed with Innovative Leisure Records in March 2011. He relocated from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 2012, and began touring North America and Europe, as well as working as producer on the Allah-Las 2012 self-titled debut.

In May 2012, his debut album, Time's All Gone, was released on Innovative Leisure Records.

Waterhouse toured North America and Europe with the Allah-Las through 2012 in support of Time's All Gone. Another European tour in Spring 2013 found him playing Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain (with an appearance at the Primavera Sound Festival, and the UK. He continued his production work on the Allah-Las' sophomore release "Worship The Sun", released in 2014.

Nick was Daryl Hall's guest on Live From Daryl's House, Episode 58, September 15, 2012.

Waterhouse appeared in a commercial for the Lexus CT hybrid in 2014, performing "Time's All Gone Pt. 1". His second LP, Holly, was issued in March of that year by Innovative Leisure Records.

His song, "This Is A Game" was featured in the popular PlayStation game MLB 14: The Show.

Waterhouse's third studio album Never Twice was released on September 30, 2016.

His song Katchi was remixed by the French duo Ofenbach in 2017 and reached #1 in the French charts.

In January 2018, Nick Waterhouse entered the studio to begin recording his fourth studio album. On January 9, 2019, it was confirmed that his new self-titled album would release on March 8, 2019.

Waterhouse released his fifth studio album, "Promenade Blue" on April 9, 2021.atthew Correia, later of the Allah-Las.
