Papa Don't Preach - Natalie Renoir & James Farrelli

James Farrelli never thought of himself as a singer. An actor yes, a performer perhaps but a singer, not really. After a session at his friend's studio dropping some jazz into a Phil Collins track, he was invited to appear on the upcoming album by Sarah Menescal and he hasn't stopped singing since. He enjoys jamming with the gang from Stella Starlight Trio and really likes drinking wine with Cassandra Beck, pretty much whenever. James has a day job in the City and he won't tell us what it is. But you can catch him on his off-hours spreading jazz all over your favorite pop classics.

Natalie Renoir began her career as a backup vocalist for a live show series produced by Sixth Finger. The then-producers of the successful series Bossa N' Stones series decided that her voice deserved its very own tracks and they invited her to the studio to record a swinging version of Guns n’ Roses classic hit, “It's so Easy” Natalie was in her element with the upbeat bossa versions being created and developed a tight artistic relationship with Celso Mendes and Brazil XXI, with whom she continues to collaborate. Natalie holds fond memories of the recording of Rockaway Beach, as she was a major Ramones fan as a young girl.
