The Struts - Dancing in the Street

 The Struts son una banda británica de rock originaria de Derby, Derbyshire, Inglaterra. La banda está compuesta por el vocalista Luke Spiller, el guitarrista Adam Slack, el bajista Jed Elliott y el batería Gethin Davies. Formada en 2009, originalmente estaba compuesta por Spiller, Slack, el bajista Jamie Binns y el batería Rafe Thomas.

El cantante-compositor Luke Spiller creció en Bristol en una familia cristiana. La banda actuó frecuentemente alrededor del Reino Unido. Lanzaron su primer sencillo "I Just Know" en junio de 2012. Firmaron con Future Records, pero se fueron con Virgin EMI y lanzaron un EP titulado Kiss This.

The Struts hicieron giras por Inglaterra y Francia, y en 2014 actuaron delante de 80.000 personas como teloneros de The Rolling Stones en París. Ese verano, hicieron una gira de 24 fechas en la que se incluía el Isle of Wight Festival.

Everybody Wants, su álbum de estudio debut, fue lanzado en julio de 2014 en el Reino Unido. Entre en las listas del Reino Unido y recibió críticas positivas.​ A principios de 2015, The Struts firmaron un contrato con Interscope Records/Polydor y en agosto de ese año lanzaron el EP Have You Heard, su primer lanzamientos en Estados Unidos. Las entradas se vendieron por completo en 20 fechas, oncluyendo en su concierto debut en Los Ángeles en The Troubador, entradas que se vendieron en media hora. The Struts se mudaron a Los Ángeles a principios de 2015. Su primera aparición televisiva en Estados Unidos fue en Jimmy Kimmel Live! En agosto de 2015. En diciembre de 2015 actyaron en el Late Night with Seth Meyers.

En enero de 2016, fue anunciado que The Struts lanzaron de nuevo Everybody Wants el 4 de marzo en Freesolo/Interscope Records/Universal Music con cuatro canciones no incluidas en el lanzamiento original.

El 9 de agosto de 2016, fueron teloneros de la banda Guns N' Roses para su gira Not In This Lifetime en el AT&T Park en San Francisco, debutando con su sencillo debut "Put Your Hands Up."​

El 3 de marzo de 2017 la banda lanzó "Live And Unplugged" un EP de 5 canciones acústicas que incluía un cover de "Hotline Bling"

En julio de 2017, fueron teloneros de la banda The Who en Quebec, actuando para más de 80.000 personas, su mayor aforo hasta la fecha.

El 23 de septiembre de 2017 telonearon a The Rolling Stones durante la gira #nofilter en Lucca, Italia.

El 12 de octubre de 2017 The Struts fueron teloneros de Foo Fighters en Washington DC en el estadio The Anthem como parte de la gira Concrete and Gold.​

En junio de 2018, la banda anunció que habían terminado de grabar su segundo álbum. Luke Spiller comentó, "Yo creo que a todo el mundo le va a gustar. Janet Jackson - Tonight's the Night

Anthony Strong ft. Emmaline - Don't Dream It's Over

Anthony Strong (nacido el 29 de octubre de 1984) es un cantante, pianista y compositor inglés de Jazz. 

Strong nació en Croydon, hijo de Pat y Roger,​ y se educó en Whitgift School, la Royal Academy of Music, Purcell School y The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, donde estudió un grado (Bachelor of Music) en piano de Jazz. Durante sus últimos años como estudiante de música, Strong adquirió reputación como acompañante y músico de estudio, trabajando con Charlotte Church, Michael Bolton, Marti Pellow, y Jocelyn Brown, y apareciendo con regularidad en programas de televisión.

En 2009, Strong grabó su álbum debut: Guaranteed!, escrito junto a Guy Mathers y Jamie Pullen y presentando ocho canciones originales y una versión de "I Won't Dance", con participaciones de la cantante Natalie Williams, el vibrafonista Lewis Wright y el baterista Tom Farmer de Empirical. Emmaline Campbell, known professionally as Emmaline, is an American singer-songwriter, violinist and YouTuber. Emmaline launched her music career in 2017 with the creation of her YouTube page. In 2018, Emmaline's following grew following her appearance on Scott Bradley’s YouTube channel, Postmodern Jukebox. The YouTube video went viral with over one-million views. In 2019, she produced her debut EP All My Sweetest Dreams which was funded by her fans through a Kickstarter campaign. Shortly after the release of her EP, Emmaline opened at a sold-out show for Chaka Khan at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Jazz Studies from the University of Cincinnati - Conservatory of Music. During her years in College, Emmaline had begun her music career by publishing her own singles and EPs, being featured on other artists tracks, making appearances and going on tour. She performed with the Cincinnati Symphony orchestra, lending her vocals in "It Don't Mean a Thing if it Ain't Got That Swing."

Guitar Center contracted the young artist in 2017 to do a Christmas promotional video. Filmed in the guitar studio at a Guitar Center location, the video featured Emmaline and guitarist, Ryan Mondak, performing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". The video was posted on the company's twitter account Christmas morning. In 2018, the attention of Emmaline's career was elevated her performance of the song "Domino" with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox received over one million views. During her time in Cincinnati, she met Funk musician and producer Bootsy Collins who invited Emmaline to collaborate on his rendition of hit Halloween song, "Monster Mash". In 2019, Emmaline went on tour during a college break to promote her recently released EP All My Sweetest Dreams. During this tour, she opened for a sold-out audience at a Chaka Khan concert in New Jersey. Emmaline released her first single, "Shy(Demo)", on Spotify in 2018. She released a cover of hit Christmas song "Winter Wonderland" on November 27, 2020.

Randy Goodrum - I'll Be over You

 Charles Randolph Goodrum (born July 7, 1947) is an American songwriter, pianist, and producer. Goodrum has written number one songs in each of the four decades since his first number one hit, 1978's "You Needed Me".

Goodrum's songs have appeared on the country, pop, jazz, rock, R&B and adult contemporary charts. An accomplished pianist, his music has been used extensively in film and television.

Goodrum joined the US Army following his college graduation, where he played in the army band. During his off hours, he wrote songs and decided to pursue a career as a songwriter. Following his 1972 discharge from the army, Goodrum went to Los Angeles to meet with music publishers. Although he was unable to place any of the dozen songs he presented, he was encouraged to continue writing. He returned to Little Rock and planned to move to Los Angeles. Instead, at the suggestion of a friend, Bob Millsap, he moved to Nashville, where he could finance his songwriting endeavors as a pianist-for-hire for session work and live performances. Millsap signed Goodrum to his publishing company, Ironside, and would go on to pitch Goodrum's first major hit, "You Needed Me", with the persistence it required. "The word would come back that song didn't have a chorus, was too pop, didn't fit the Nashville mould, wasn't sing-a-long, that kind of thing," Millsap's co-writer Jerry Flowers said in 2003.

Frustrated as he wrote the song, Goodrum had almost thrown "You Needed Me" away. It was recorded by Anne Murray for her 1978 album, Let's Keep It That Way and peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It won Song of the Year at the Academy of Country Music awards, earned Murray the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 21st Grammy Awards, and spent 36 weeks on the Adult Contemporary charts, setting a record for longevity which remained unbroken until 1995. During the same time period, Goodrum wrote five other hit songs: Murray's "Broken Hearted Me" (1979); Michael Johnson's "Bluer Than Blue" (1978); England Dan & John Ford Coley's "It's Sad to Belong" (1977), and Gene Cotton's "Before My Heart Finds Out" (1978).

As a pianist during his early years in Nashville, Goodrum played live and in the studio with artists including Roy Orbison and Jerry Reed. Most significantly, he performed with Chet Atkins, who became both a collaborator and a mentor. With Atkins, Goodrum wrote, "To B or Not to B" and "Waltz for the Lonely", among other songs. Goodrum's composition "So Soft Your Goodbye" won a 1991 Grammy award for Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler.

In 1979, Dottie West released Special Delivery. Goodrum co-produced the album with Brett Maher, and together they wrote 6 of the album's 10 songs. In early 1980, the Goodrum/Maher song "A Lesson in Leavin'" was released. Her first hit as a solo artist, it went to #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in April; in 1981, West had another #1 with Goodrum's "What Are We Doin' In Love", a duet with Kenny Rogers. Over the next two years, Goodrum wrote songs which were performed by artists including Michael McDonald, Kenny Rogers, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty and Tammy Wynette, among others. In 1981, he won six ASCAP Awards.

In 1982, Goodrum signed a worldwide publishing deal with New York-based CBS Songs. He moved briefly to nearby Westport, Connecticut, before relocating to Los Angeles. Although no longer in Nashville, he continued to work with country artists, writing a hit for Sylvia. His credits expanded to include best-selling records in genres including R&B (Patti Austin, El DeBarge), jazz (George Benson, Al Jarreau) and rock (Michael McDonald, Chicago, Toto). In 1984, Goodrum worked with Steve Perry on his solo debut, Street Talk. He partnered with Perry to write five songs for the album and wrote four additional songs in collaboration with others. "Oh Sherrie", written with Perry, Craig Krampf, and Bill Cuomo was #1 on the Billboard Rock Charts and the biggest hit of Perry's career as a solo artist. "Now and Forever (You and Me)", co-written with David Foster and Jim Vallance, was a major hit for Anne Murray in 1986, appearing on the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks. In the mid-90s, he returned to Nashville, and later wrote hit songs for artists including Ronan Keating and John Berry. In 1999, Boyzone had success with a cover version of "You Needed Me" and Jo Dee Messina's cover of "A Lesson in Leavin'" appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 year-end charts.

Goodrum wrote songs for each of the Clinton/Gore presidential campaigns, including "A Circle of Friends", which was the closing theme for the 1992 Democratic Convention and "Reunion," and performed the theme live on television for Clinton's first Inaugural Gala. "Together as One", written for Kenny Rogers and Trisha Yearwood, was featured during the 1997 Clinton inauguration. Goodrum performed on the CBS television special which aired that night. His film and television credits include Prancer Returns, Snowden on Ice, Back to School and Stir Crazy. He co-wrote the theme for the long-running daytime drama One Life to Live with Dave Grusin.

Goodrum was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2000. In addition to his work as a songwriter, session player, and producer, he has released six solo albums. He also performs together with Jay Graydon as JaR. They released their first album, Scene 29, in 2008.

Goodrum co-wrote "Most of All" for Steve Perry's 2018 album Traces.

Together with Dave Innis and Bruce Gaitsch Goodrum formed the group GIG, named after the first letters of their surnames. The group has released 2 albums so far: "Brave New World" was released in 2018,^[17] followed by "Wisdom and Madness" in 2022.
