Rick Wakeman - John Parr - Abracadabra

Rick Wakeman, nacido Richard Christopher Wakeman (Londres, 18 de mayo de 1949), es un compositor e intérprete británico, famoso por ser integrante del grupo de rock progresivo Yes y por su prolífica carrera solista.

Empezó siendo un pianista entrenado en música clásica, y se hizo célebre por el empleo de multitud de teclados electrónicos que fueron en su momento de última generación, y el uso de orquestas y coros como acompañamiento de una banda de rock.

Compró su primer teclado electrónico (un sintetizador Minimoog) del actor Jack Wild. Wakeman pudo comprarlo a mitad de su precio de venta ya que Wild creía que no funcionaba bien porque solo ejecutaba una nota a la vez (no sabía que se trataba de un sintetizador monofónico).

Actualmente tiene un programa en la radio Planet Rock. Es considerado por la crítica musical y los aficionados como uno de los más destacados tecladistas de rock de todos los tiempos. Por ejemplo, el 26 de septiembre de 2014, el guitarrista de Queen, Brian May, declaró públicamente, en el concierto Starmus de Tenerife: "probablemente el tecladista más grande del rock es Rick Wakeman..., de hecho ni siquiera probablemente."

John Parr (born 18 November 1952) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter, best known for his 1985 US #1 single "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)" and for his 1984 US #6 Rock single "Naughty Naughty". He has written and performed ten major motion picture themes including Three Men and a Baby and The Running Man. Parr has sold over 10 million albums and was nominated for a Grammy award for "St. Elmo's Fire" in 1985.

 

Baobab Sisters - Seanamarena + Baba Nnumzane

Baobab Sisters is a female vocal group singing South African music. The group consists of seven professional, Danish singers and has existed since 2009. 

The group has specialised in singing South African music in local languages such as Zulu, Xhosa and Sotho. The repertoire consists of a variety of music from traditional songs with dance moves, political songs, to new pop melodies about universal topics such as love and sorrow. Baobab Sisters tour in Denmark and South Africa and have worked with a lot of great South African musicians, such as Hugh Masekela, Ntsika Ngxanga, Mbongeni Ngema and The Soil.

Peter Frampton I Just Want To Make Love To You

Peter Kenneth Frampton (nacido el 22 de abril de 1950 en Beckenham, Kent) es un músico británico, conocido por su trabajo solista a mediados de los años 1970 y como uno de los miembros originales de la banda Humble Pie. Famoso por haber sido el compositor original del tema "Baby, I Love Your Way", así como de otros éxitos entre los cuales destacan "Do You Feel Like We Do" o "I'm In You", y por su doble directo como solista editado en 1976, Frampton Comes Alive!, considerado uno de los mejores y más vendidos discos en directo de la historia del rock.

 

Liliac - Wild Thing

 5-piece Los Angeles-based, family Rock/Metal band, “Liliac” has sparked the world by storm. This female-fronted band consisting of all siblings’ ages 13-22 has brought a unique and fresh sound they call “Vamp Metal”. Lead vocalist, Melody (20), with her raspy-powerful voice; Lead guitarist, Samuel (22), with his skillful-effortless guitars; Drummer, Abigail (21), with her solid-thunderous drums; Bassist, Ethan (15), with his rich-thick bass; Keyboardist, Justin (14), with his passionate-polished keys; is what makes this band so incredible and catches the eyes of millions. Liliac, which means “bat” in Romanian, not only, has a unique meaning but also a unique story.

  Their father, seeing the talent in all five kids, envisioned the band. Giving each of them instruments to learn, they started out street performing on the Santa Monica pier, every weekend, for many years. Building their confidence and honing their craft, Liliac would gather large crowds interested in watching this family perform. Little did they know they would become a young music sensation...

  They began covering famous/popular rock and metal songs, which went viral on all social media platforms. Which soon led them being on national television on a competition show called “World’s Best” on CBS. Soon there after, they began writing hook-heavy original material with their father producing and recording in his home studio. They released their first EP “Chain of Thorns” in 2019, which hit #1 on Amazon’s Best Seller for Rock Music Charts. In the summer of 2019, their first North American tour consisting of 40 dates brought in thousands of fans and sold-out shows, which was a huge success for the band.

 In 2020 they released their full length album of 13 original songs titled "Queen of Hearts" landing #29 on iTunes Rock charts. Bryan Adams (n. el 5 de Noviembre de 1959 en Kingston, Ontario, Canadá) es un cantante, cantautor, músico y fotógrafo canadiense. Entre sus estilos musicales figura el rock.

Su padre fue diplomatico, por lo que creció viajando por el mundo, especialmente en Europa. Su familia regresó a Canadá en 1973, y en la escuela secundaria estaba tan ocupado en la música que no le prestaba atención a las chicas (según entrevista de Carlo D'Agostino de Rolling Stone magazine). Un encuentro afortunado en una tienda de música unió a Jim Vallance y Bryan Adams, lo que llevó a una sociedad para escribir música. En la revista Maclean's magazine se dijo, "Vallance buscaba un cantante y Adams buscaba la ruta a ser respetado musicalmente, ambos despegaron inmediatamente"

Su primer album "Bryan Adams" debuto en 1980 y marco el inicio de su carrera con Vallance y a la fecha tienen 16 albums.

Su tercer Album, "Cuts Like a Knife" (1983), consiguió ser disco de triple platino en Canada, Platino en Estados Unidos y Oro en Australia. Llegando al numero 8 de popularidad en las listas del Billboard 200. Los principales temas de este album son "Straight From The Heart", "This Time" y "Cuts Like a Knife", la cual fue la canciòn mas popular del album dado de la popularidad del video y su alta repeticion en MTV.

Adams ha compuesto canciones para grandes estrellas del mundo de la música, como Luciano Pavarotti, Barbra Streisand, Tina Turner, Celine Dion, Rod Stewart, Sting, Smokey Robinson y muchas otras estrellas, con muchas de las cuales también ha cantado a dúo.

Paul Carrack - Don't Dream It's Over

.Paul Melvyn Carrack (Sheffield, Inglaterra, 22 de abril de 1951) es un cantante, músico y compositor británico. Apodado por el canal de televisión BBC como "El hombre con la voz de oro", ? Carrack empezó su carrera profesional como compositor y líder del grupo Ace y ganó popularidad como artista en solitario y por su pertenencia a grupos como Roxy Music, Squeeze y The Bleeding Heart Band, grupo de respaldo de Roger Waters. Entre 1980 y finales de la década de 1990, ganó popularidad como fundador junto a Mike Rutherford y Paul Young (Sad Café) del grupo Mike + The Mechanics. Carrack trabajó como vocalista de la banda hasta su marcha en 2004.

Carrack cantó varios de los mayores éxitos en las bandas donde trabajó, incluyendo "How Long?" en Ace, "Tempted" en Squeeze, y "Silent Running" en Mike + The Mechanics.
